A brace body 24 vertically extending and forming a closed cross section shape with a wheel house inner 5 is joined to a wheel house 4, and an upper surface opening of the brace body 24 is joined to a rear shelf 31 arranged so as to be extended in a vehicle width direction. The brace closed cross section part and the rear shelf closed cross section part are connected and an area of a horizontal cross section of the brace body 24 is broadened toward the upper surface opening. A connection area of the rear shelf 31 is ensured by the brace body 24 having the minimum size suppressed with stress distribution to sufficiently enhance the rigidity of the wheel house 4.
