To provide vehicle body structure preventing a front part of a cabin section from greatly intruding into a cabin in a frontal collision even if reducing the rigidity of the cabin section.
An undercarriage frame 10 and the cabin section 20 of independent structure are connected through a mount broken by the input of collision load, and an upper load inducing mechanism 100 positively lifting the front part of a floor panel 26 upward following the forward movement of the cabin section 20 in the frontal collision of a vehicle is provided between the undercarriage frame 10 and the cabin section 20. When the cabin section 20 is relatively moved to the front side of the vehicle in the frontal collision, the front part of the floor panel 26 is lifted upward, and a space part S is formed between the front part of the floor panel 26 and a dash cross member 22. The interference of the floor panel 26 with the undercarriage frame 10 is thereby prevented, or the degree of interference is reduced to prevent the front part of the floor panel 26 from being deformed to intrude a great deal into the cabin.
