Abstract:
To properly decelerate and stop a vehicle in fall of a main power supply.SOLUTION: A main brake ECU estimates a residual power amount Wcap of a capacitor being an auxiliary power supply in a step S11, when fall of a main power supply is detected, then, estimates a stop time T which is a time required until a vehicle is stopped from a running state, in a subsequent step S12. Then, the main brake ECU calculates a stop power consumption amount Wstp indicating a power amount consumed in a brake device in the stop time T in a step S13. The main brake ECU determines whether or not, the stop power consumption amount Wstp is larger than the residual power amount Wcap in a step S14, and if the stop power consumption amount Wstp is larger than the residual power amount Wcap, sets a target control amount in brake operation time to become larger in a step S15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
