A vehicle braking device is provided with a control electric signal generating means 5 generating a brake control electric signal on the basis of a brake operation detection signal corresponding to an actuating amount of a brake pedal 1 and a brake pressure control means 9 controlling a brake pressure to be fed to a brake device 11 in compliance with the brake control electric signal generated in the control electric signal generating means 5. In this way, the control electric signal generating means 5 impresses a brake control electric signal for temporarily increasing a brake pressure higher than that by the brake control electric signal based on the brake operation detection signal to the brake pressure controlling means 9 when brake control is started.
