To provide a reservoir having a simple constitution to secure a highly reliable operation.
This reservoir 13 has a cylinder 23 and a cover member 24. The cover member 24 is provided at the bottom of the cylinder 23 and is formed so that a predetermined space 25 may be formed between the cover member 24 and a head part of the cylinder 23 and that a peripheral edge portion of an elastically deformable member 26 disposed in the space 25 can be held between the cover member 24 and an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder 23. The elastically deformable member 26 has a fixed part 33 formed into a substantially circular ring shape and a variable part 34 extended from the fixed part 33 to the head side of the cylinder 23 to have a substantially convex shape. The variable part 34 is formed so that at least its substantially center part may be in proximity to the head 23b of the cylinder.
