Abstract:
A vehicle braking system with fluid controlled brakes has a primary braking circuit 3 operable by the vehicle operator and an auxiliary braking circuit 5 operable in response to movement of a rear detector 18. The auxiliary circuit includes first and second valves 26, 27 in series operable in response to electrical switches 25, 22 controlled respectively by a forward/reverse drive selector 24 and the position of the rear detector 18.
