Abstract:
To provide a vehicle braking system capable of braking a vehicle from a traveling surface side.
In this vehicle braking system, a magnet 28 is provided on the traveling surface 26 of a vehicle braking area for braking the vehicle 18. By a magnetic field of the magnet 28, viscosity of an MR fluid 20 accommodated in a wheel brake 16 of the vehicle 18 is increased and rotation resistance of a wheel interlocking part 22 facing the MR fluid 20 in the wheel brake 16 is increased in order to brake the wheel 14.
