To provide an on-vehicle camera control system for optimizing the number of images to be recorded, while effectively utilizing an on-vehicle camera as a camera for security.
The on-vehicle camera control system includes an on-vehicle machine 14, with an on-vehicle camera 10 capturing around a vehicle images, on the basis of trigger signals received from the outside of a vehicle 2; a communication station 3 transmitting the images received from the vehicle 2 to a base station 4, while transmitting the trigger signals to the vehicle 2, on the basis of the trigger information from the base station 4; and a base station 4 with an image recording device 31 for receiving the images from the communication station 3 to record the images, while computing trigger intervals transmitting the trigger signals to transmit the trigger information to the communication station 3, and computes the trigger intervals transmitting the trigger signals, according to the traffic on the road, with the communication station 3 disposed thereon.
