To visually recognize the traffic condition of a crossing road including approaching vehicles even when the vehicle advancing direction and the crossing road are not orthogonal to each other.
An on-vehicle camera device 11 picks up an image of the condition of a road across the advancing direction of one's own vehicle, and displays the image on a display unit (a navigation device 12). A control unit 110 acquires information on the angle between a road on which one's own vehicle is located and a road thereacross, and an image of an object picked up by an optical system 111 capable of performing the image pickup at the viewing angle exceeding 180° with respect to the advancing direction of one's own vehicle. Then, the control unit performs and displays the processing of segmenting the output image forming the viewing angle of ≤180° according to the acquired angle information out of the acquired object image.
