To provide an on-vehicle camera system using the same camera as a side blind camera for checking a front side of a vehicle during driving of the vehicle, and as a security camera for monitoring a vehicule compartment during parking of the vehicle.
In the on-vehicle camera system, a camera 110 is provided on a door mirror 10, and a moving mechanism 120 moving the door mirror 10 between a use position and a retracting position and changing a posture of the camera 110 is provided in the door mirror 10. The moving mechanism 120 changes the posture of the camera 110 so as to make a vehicular front side as a view field direction, when the door mirror 10 is moved to the use position. The moving mechanism 120 moves the camera 110 so as to make the inside of the vehicule compartment as the view field direction. Concretely, the view field direction of the camera 110 is changed by 180 degrees with movement of the door mirror 10.
