Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle charger capable of enhancing durability by making a frequency of fault diagnosis on a relay be appropriate.SOLUTION: A vehicle charging device 1 for supplying charging current for a storage battery 94 for storing power for travelling to a vehicle 9 including the storage battery 94 comprises: first and second relays 21, 22 capable of cutting off the charging current; and a control unit 20 capable of performing fault diagnosis on the first and second relays 21, 22 by changing over operation states of the first and second relays 21, 22. The control unit 20 executes the fault diagnosis when a predetermined condition is satisfied at least in the case of either of starting supplying the charging current and stopping it, and does not execute fault diagnosis when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
