CONSTITUTION: When a secondary battery l is connected to a charger 2 and an ignition switch 4 is off and a solar cell 5 fully receives light and is converting light energy into an electric energy, the power from a car battery 3 is cut by an ignition switch 4, the output from the solar cell 5 is supplied to the charger 2 via a first diode 6, and the secondary battery 1 is charged. Also, when the secondary battery 1 Is removed, the car battery 3 is charged by the solar cell 5. When the ignition switch 4 is on, either the solar cell 5 or the car battery 3 which is higher than the other charges the secondary battery 1.
