Abstract:
To suppress battery discharge and overcharge even when a heater is driven while a contactor is closed.SOLUTION: Provided is a charge control device 10 for a vehicle 1 that includes a battery 3 and a load part 7 connected in parallel, via a contactor 8, to an on-board charger 6 powered by an external charging facility 5. The charging control device includes a setting part 11, an acquisition part 12, and a control part 13. The setting part 11 sets a required value Ir for a current demanded from the external charging facility 5 to 0 in temperature control to control the temperature of the battery 3 by driving a heater 7A of the load part 7 while the contactor 8 is closed. The acquisition part 12 acquires the discharge value Id of current flowing from the battery 3 to the load part 7 while the required value Ir is set to 0 by the setting part 11. The control part 13 increases step-by-step the required value Ir from 0 to the discharge value Id acquired by the acquisition part 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
