Title:
VEHICLE COLLISION AVOIDANCE CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3779441
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a braking distance in a specific state, by letting an actuator, which connects an interval between a car body and a tire, to generate upward/downward acceleration and temporarily increasing the ground load when the brake distance is detected to be insufficient.
SOLUTION: When the presence of an obstacle is detected by a radar means 27, the car speed at that time is read from a car speed sensor 28. The possibility of the collision is judged by a collision fear operation means 29, internally generates a temporary target load by referring to the input signal to a target load operation part 24 of a sprung acceleration sensor 22 and an unsprung acceleration sensor 23 which are provided on a suspension device of each tire, a servo valve 10 is driven so as to equalize this load to the signal (actual load) of the load sensor 20 and generate the stroke by the actuator 5 so that upward/ downward acceleration is generated either one of the sprung weight and the unsprung weight in the direction for increasing the tire ground load.
