Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision testing apparatus in which a braking device and an arm tilting bar can be installed easily and quickly in desired positions and which can deal with various collision test conditions.
SOLUTION: In the vehicle collision testing apparatus, a test vehicle 11 is pulled to a part near a barrier 13 by using a traction device 15, the test vehicle 11 is separated from the traction device 15 by the arm tilting bar 36 in a position before a prescribed distance from the barrier 13, and the traction means 15 is stopped by the braking device 16. The bar 36 is attached integrally to the braking device 16, and the braking device 16 and the bar 36 are attached to a guide rail 14 used to guide the traction device 16 to the barrier 13 so as to be movable.
