PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle communication device capable of reducing a burden on a recipient of a message.SOLUTION: A vehicle communication device 100 includes: reception means 46 which receives a message from another vehicle; display means 47 which displays the message on a display unit 11 above a dashboard; recognition determination means 48 which determines whether a driver has recognized the message displayed on the display unit; and transmitting means 49 which transmits the determination result by the recognition determination means to the other vehicle.
