PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device which can perform automatic drive so as to smoothen a traffic flow, a computer program and a vehicle control method.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: an own vehicle information acquisition part for acquiring vehicle information including the position information of a vehicle and information related to the equipment of the vehicle as own vehicle information related to an own vehicle; a lane information acquisition part for acquiring the lane information of a road on which the own vehicle travels; and a lane decision part for deciding a lane in which the own vehicle travels on the basis of the own vehicle information which is acquired at the own vehicle information acquisition part and the lane information which is acquired at the lane information acquisition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
