Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to more reliably prevent slip-down of a vehicle without cost.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 6 mounted on a vehicle performs control of drive of a motor 3 by controlling of driving current supplied to a coil of the motor through on-off operation of a switching element which is disposed on a vertical arm of a bridge type drive circuit, and performs short circuit brake control by forming a circuit for short-circuiting between coil terminals of the motor by the drive circuit, and acting a brake force on the motor 3. The vehicle control device comprises: an input part 61 which receives instruction concerning running or stop of a vehicle and information concerning a running state of the vehicle; and a control part 62 which performs short circuit brake control during at least a part of a period from stop of the vehicle until departure of the vehicle is instructed, on the basis of at least one of the aforesaid instruction or information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
