Abstract:
To improve the determination accuracy of how far a portable device is away from a passenger and suggest its position, when the portable device is dropped or the like while a vehicle is running and away from the passenger.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 20 includes: a transmitting/receiving unit 22 that transmits/receives a wireless signal to/from a portable device 10; a wireless signal intensity determination unit 211 that determines the intensity of the wireless signal received by the transmitting/receiving unit; a communication state determination unit 212 that determines a communication state with the portable device; a portable device position determination unit 213 that determines the position of the portable device; and an output unit 214 that outputs the determination made by the portable device position determination unit. The portable device position determination unit determines the position of the portable device by a combination of the intensity of the wireless signal determined by the wireless signal intensity determination unit and the communication state determined by the communication state determination unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
