Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy consumption in accordance with various traffic environments.SOLUTION: An environmental information acquisition section 52 acquires traffic environment information including congestion information, map information, surrounding vehicle information and traffic light information. A traveling pattern determination section 54 determines a vehicle speed pattern to an arrival point on the basis of limitation corresponding to the acquired traffic environment information, and calculates a vehicle required output pattern corresponding to the vehicle speed pattern. An energy management section 56 determines operation points of an engine and a motor generator at each time so as to minimize energy consumption on the basis of the vehicle required output pattern and time-sequence data on energy stored in a secondary battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
