Abstract:
To optimally perform display concerning an inter-vehicle distance according to a road condition in which a vehicle is traveling.SOLUTION: A vehicle controller 200 includes: a first road surface friction coefficient calculation unit 210 that calculates a first road surface friction coefficient on the basis of a detection value sent from a hub unit sensor included in an axle; a second road surface friction coefficient calculation unit 220 that calculates a second road surface friction coefficient on the basis of a detection value sent from a non-contact sensor that detects a road condition in a non-contact manner; and a display control unit 240 that controls display concerning an inter-vehicle distance on the basis of the first road surface friction coefficient and the second road surface friction coefficient in the event that a road surface whose friction coefficient is lower than that of a road surface on which a vehicle is traveling exists ahead of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
