Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of properly controlling inertia travel.SOLUTION: An engine ECU 31 keeps a vehicle 10 in an inertia travel state by clutch-off according to establishment of prescribed execution conditions, and releases the inertia travel state by clutch-on according to establishment of prescribed release conditions during inertia travel. Further the engine ECU 31 includes deceleration degree calculation means for calculating an actual deceleration degree as a deceleration degree of the vehicle at that time in the vehicle deceleration state in the inertia travel, determination means for determining whether the actual deceleration degree calculated by the deceleration degree calculation means is larger than a threshold value determined on the basis of the deceleration degree of the vehicle in a state of accelerator-off and clutch-on, or not, and travel control means for releasing the inertia travel when the actual deceleration degree is determined to be larger than a threshold value, and keeping the inertia travel in a case when the actual deceleration degree is determined to be smaller than the threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
