PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of facilitating switching to a target traveling route suitable for a driving support mode without excessive calculation load.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device (ECU) 10 for a vehicle 1 having a plurality of driving support modes executes traveling route calculation processing (S13 in Fig. 9) for temporally repeatedly calculating a plurality of traveling routes each including a target position P_k and target speed V_k of the vehicle without considering obstacle information on obstacles on a traveling path or around the traveling path on which the vehicle 1 travels, executes traveling route selection processing (S14 in Fig. 9, Fig. 10) for selecting one traveling route from the plurality of traveling routes as a target traveling route on the basis of a selected driving support mode, and executes first traveling route correction processing (S15a) for correcting the target traveling route to comply with traveling regulations on the basis of traveling regulation information instructing the traveling regulations including a signal L or sign on the traveling path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
