Abstract:
To favorably prevent both deterioration of output or fuel economy of an internal combustion engine including a supercharger and freezing of condensate water in an intercooler.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: an internal combustion engine; a supercharger which compresses intake air of the internal combustion engine; an intercooler which cools the air compressed with the supercharger; and a grille shutter which changes an air amount supplied to a heat exchanger cooling the intercooler or a coolant thereof. The vehicle control device minimizes an opening of the grille shutter when an accelerator opening of a vehicle is less than a predetermined opening and the vehicle is under an environment causing condensate water generated in the intercooler or the heat exchanger to freeze.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
