Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device that has a function of detecting whether an infant or the like is left behind in a vehicle and suppresses trouble caused by unnecessary alarms.SOLUTION: In a leaving suppression system 1, a vehicle control device 10 of a vehicle 100 includes a key communication unit 22 and a control unit 60. The key communication unit 22 detects a person existing in a first area inside the vehicle and a person existing in a second area inside the vehicle different from the first area while the vehicle is parked. The control unit 60 performs different vehicle control when the key communication unit 22 detects a person existing in the first area than when the key communication unit 22 detects a person existing in the second area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
