Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device that suppresses starting while fuel injection amount and ignition timing of each cylinder are set on the basis of a wrong crank counter value.SOLUTION: When a crank counter value CNT is a value outside a range corresponding to a chipped tooth part (No in Step S300), if a difference obtained by subtracting a crank counter value CNT before update from a crank counter value CNT that has increased through input of a pulse signal in counter update processing is larger than 10 corresponding to a specified angle (Step S310) (Yes in Step S330), a vehicle control device resets the crank counter value CNT. When the crank counter value CNT is a value within the range corresponding to the chipped tooth part (Yes in Step S300), if the difference is larger than 30 (Step S320) (Yes in Step S330), the vehicle control device resets the crank counter value CNT (Step S340).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
