Abstract:

To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of more suitably inhibiting clogging of a vacuum generation device when an ejector is functioned according to fuel cut control.

ECU 40A controls a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine 50A provided with InVVT (Intake side Variable Valve Timing) and ExVVT (Exhaust side Variable Valve Timing), and a vacuum generation device 100 comprising the ejector 30 generating a vacuum greater than a vacuum to be taken out from an intake manifold 14, and VSV (Vacuum Switching Valve) 1 making the ejector 30 function and stop functioning. The ECU 40A is provided with a specific valve characteristic change control means controlling ExVVT to change valve timing of the exhaust valve to increase the vacuum to be taken out from the intake manifold 14 when the VSV 1 is controlled to make the ejector 30 function according to fuel cut control executed in the internal combustion engine 50A.
