To provide a clutch controller of a hybrid vehicle providing acceleration performance desired by the driver by reducing a deviation between a command value and an actual value of the transfer torque of a starting clutch.
A desired basic torque capacity value of a starting clutch which matches a desired driving torque value is computed. When the rotation speed of a motor is controlled and if a value equivalent to motor torque is smaller than the desired basic torque capacity value, a value greater than the desired basic torque capacity value is set as a desired torque capacity value; if the value equivalent to motor torque is greater than the desired basic torque capacity value, a value smaller than the desired basic torque capacity value is set as a desired torque capacity value.
