Abstract:
Provided is a control apparatus for a vehicle, and the control device can, when speed change is performed during idling of driving wheels, prevent the riving wheels to continue idling and can suppressgeneration of a feeling of deceleration. During vehicle traveling when an HCU of a hybrid vehicle uses engine torque, speed change action of releasing a clutch, switching a variable gear 25A and thenengaging the clutch is carried out, and in the speed change action, the motor torque is applied to the driving wheels. In addition, under the circumstance that idling ("Yes" in Step S4) of the driving wheels is detected in the speed change action ("Yes" in Step S1), the HCU maintains motor torque (Step S5) according to requested torque in a specified period in the speed change action, and reducesthe motor torque (Step S10) after the specified period ("Yes" in Step S6 or "Yes" in Step S9).
