Abstract:

To provide a vehicle control device capable of accurately controlling heat in a vehicle based on the relationship between the self vehicle and the other vehicles travelling near the self vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device is loaded on a vehicle (hereinafter referred to as self vehicle), including at least one of a storage battery and an internal combustion engine. When satisfying a prescribed condition indicating undesirability of a heat control state of object apparatuses including at least one of the internal combustion engine, the storage battery, a travelling electromotor, a generator, and an air-conditioning device, a control unit performs processing to enlarge a vehicular gap between the self vehicle and the other vehicle travelling in front of the self vehicle. Also, when satisfying a prescribed condition, the control unit performs processing in which the self vehicle follows the other vehicle travelling by an electromotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
