Abstract:

To provide a vehicle control device, a vehicle control method and a program, which can perform more proper driving control after contact with an object.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes a recognition part 130 that recognizes the surrounding situation of an own vehicle, and a driving control part 140, 160, 180 that controls one or both of steering and acceleration/deceleration of the own vehicle on the basis of the surrounding situation recognized by the recognition part. The driving control part 140, 160, 180 determines whether or not the own vehicle can self-travel when the recognition part recognizes contact of the own vehicle with an object in a road on which the own vehicle is traveling, and when the own vehicle can self-travel, moves the own vehicle to a predetermined position on the road on which the own vehicle is traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
