Abstract:
To strike a balance between suppressing deterioration in fuel economy and comfort for a driver and the like when a heating request is issued at cold start-up.SOLUTION: A vehicle control method controls a vehicle that includes: a hot-water type heater (13) that exerts heating function when temperature of engine cooling water is equal to or higher than heating permission temperature; an electric type heater (14) capable of operating irrespective of the temperature of engine cooling water. The vehicle control method bans operation of the hot-water type heater (13) even if a heating request is issued for the hot-water type heater (13) when an engine is in a cold state, and operates the electric type heater (14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
