Abstract:
To provide a vehicle and a control method of the vehicle which can continue charging by using a sensor free from a failure even when a current sensor which measures three-phase current fails during the charging of a battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises: a motor 130 including first to third windings 130a to 130c coupled to a neutral stage N to which a charger supplies charging voltage; an inverter 120 including first to third switching elements S11 to S16 coupled to the first to third coils to boost the charging voltage; a battery 110 to which boosted voltage to be boosted by the inverter is provided; and a controller which determines an average duty ratio of a pulse width modulation signal to be provided to the inverter on the basis of first to third current sensors 121a to 121c which measure first to third phase current of the first to third windings, the charging voltage and battery voltage. The controller determines a duty ratio to a signal to a first element on the basis of the average duty ratio to the signal to the inverter, and the duty ratio of signals to the second and third elements when the first current sensor fails.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
