According to the vehicle control device 100, a state quantity acquiring means can acquire the state quantity of the vehicle, and a stability factor operation means operates a stability factor of the vehicle based on the state quantity of the vehicle. A comparison means compares the operated stability factor to the separately determined reference stability factor. A camber angle adjusting device 44 is driven by the first camber angle adjusting means based on the comparison result, and at least one camber angle of front and rear wheels is adjusted. The stability factor shows the turning characteristics of the vehicle so that the turning characteristics of the vehicle can be controlled by adjusting camber angles of the wheels based on the stability factor.
