Abstract:
To prevent a collision accident of a right-turning vehicle and a left-turning vehicle and avoid such control that comfort of a crew member is impaired.SOLUTION: A first vehicle V1 retains high precision map information for identifying a lane where a self vehicle travels and, in a case where the vehicle travels on a right-turn lane to turn right at a front intersection on the basis of the high precision map information during automatic driving, transmits a right-turning notification indicating that the vehicle is to turn right at the intersection to surrounding vehicles through vehicle-to-vehicle communication. A second vehicle V2 retains high precision map information for identifying a lane where the self vehicle travels and, in a case where the self vehicle travels straight at the front intersection during automatic driving, recognizes the vehicle existing on an opposite lane at the front intersection as a right-turning vehicle on the basis of the right-tuning notification received from the other vehicle, thereby performing predetermined control for avoiding a collision with the right-turning vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
