Abstract:
PURPOSE: To predict the vehicle operation by an operator while an operator takes no specified actions.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sensors 36, 38 detecting many physiological changes of a driver are installed in vehicle control equipment like a steering wheel, and coupled with a master unit (which is not shown in Figure). Increase of anxiety level of a driver which is caused by urgent operation is detected, e.g. by increase of conductivity of skin, with the master unit. The detected signal is supplied to equipment in the vehicle. By using the signal, supply of information which is not critical to the driver is delayed. In the above information, navigation data, detail of fuel consumption, read of car telephone, etc., are contained.
