Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system that is capable of requiring, when a vehicle breaks down, the driver to inspect or repair it rapidly.
SOLUTION: It is determined in S200 whether DIST exceeds a first criterion value A, or whether to effect a third-stage process against a serious malfunction. If S200 ends in the affirmative, the third-stage serious-malfunction process as a strong warning cuts off fuel in S230 to hold the engine speed falling below a constant value. It is determined in S210 whether DUST exceeds a second criterion value B, or whether to carry out a second-stage process against a slight malfunction. If S210 ends in the affirmative, the second-stage slight- malfunction process as a light warning stops the operation of the air conditioner in S240. It is determined in S220 whether DUST exceeds a third criterion value of zero, or whether to trigger a first-stage process. If S220 ends in the negative, the first-stage process actuates the alarm lamp to indicate the abnormality in S250.
