Abstract:
To provide a vehicle controller improved in safety by using a camera.
Distance between a vehicle F existing in front of the present vehicle and the present vehicle S is detected by a distance detection sensor 20. In addition, the vehicle F existing in front of the present vehicle is detected by the camera 30. A control unit 10 judges a state of a rear lamp of a vehicle existing in front by using the camera 30 when the vehicle existing in front is detected by the distance detection sensor 20 and when a failure of the rear lamp of the vehicle existing in front is detected, communicates the failure with a driver of the vehicle existing in front or public institutions by a communication means 40.
