PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle cross mover and a control device thereof for a truck, excellent in load resistance and stability possible to safely and surely operate the mover almost automatically by a simple structure.
CONSTITUTION: A vehicle cross mover is constituted of a pulley 21 provided in a transmitting shaft system, plurality of vertically movable grounding wheels 25, 25' arranged in parallel with a space in both sides of this pulley at lower down time and a plurality of intermediate wheels 37, 37' lifted by an actuator or the like and brought into contact with also the pulley while pressing down the grounding wheels at operation time, and also providing a control means of the actuator by a signal from a detector or the like possible to detect a safety condition of load weight, its unevenness, tilt of a road, etc., and by a command signal of a driver.
