Abstract:
To solve a problem that design processing is difficult to be performed and manufacturing cost is difficult to be reduced by using steel materials for a conventional vehicle decorative article.SOLUTION: A vehicle decorative article 10 has: a nickel base material 11; a first coating film layer 12 formed on a surface 11A of the nickel base material 11; and a second coating film layer 13 formed on a surface 12A of the first coating film layer 12. The nickel base material 11 has a plate thickness thicker than film thicknesses of the first and second coating film layers 12 and 13. According to this structure, the nickel base material 11 functions as a mother material for the vehicle decorative article 10, and the vehicle decorative article 10 satisfies the desired rigidity, durability and usability as a vehicle component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
