Abstract:
To prevent wrong detection and non-detection of a vehicle.
In this vehicle detection device, when a detection result of a vehicle by a plurality of sensors SE1-SEn (n is an integer of two or higher) is not contradictory, a cooperative mode is adopted, and the sensors SE1-SEn measure the vehicle. When the detection result is contradictory, a master-slave mode is adopted, and a sensor detecting the vehicle confirms sureness as a master sensor, and a sensor not detecting the vehicle performs re-search as a slave sensor. When the sensors other than any one of the sensors SE1-SEn can not be operated, an independent mode is adopted, and vehicle measurement is performed only by the operable sensor.
