To provide a vehicle determination device capable of reducing possibility of malfunction with respect to output from an angular velocity sensor.
It is determined whether or not the angular velocity of a vehicle acquired by the angular velocity sensor exceeds an angular speed threshold with regard to a relation with a vehicle speed by using an angular velocity threshold map varying according to the vehicle speed. In this case, if the angular velocity does not exceed the angular velocity threshold, the angular velocity is regarded as an effective value and vehicle sideslip is determined using the angular velocity. If it is determined that the vehicle skids, control such as ABS is performed. On the other hand, if the angular velocity exceeds the angular velocity threshold, the acquired angular velocity is determined as an invalid value and is not used for determining the vehicle sideslip.
