Abstract:
To efficiently supply a lubricating oil into rotating housings of a vehicle differential device.SOLUTION: A vehicle differential device comprises: a pair of side gears 30, 40 of a substantially-cylindrical shape, which are arranged side by side along an axial line CL1; a pair of pinion gears 50, 60 that engage with one and the other of the side gears 30, 40, respectively, and engage with each other; and housings 10, 20 that have peripheral walls 12, 22 of substantially-cylindrical shapes and side walls 13, 23 extended radially inward from ends of the peripheral walls 12, 22, and accommodate the side gears 30, 40 and the pinion gears 50, 60. The peripheral wall 22 has a concavity that forms a housing space for the pinion gears 50, 60 so as to rotate integrally with the pinion gears 50, 60, and openings are formed in the side walls 13, 23 to provide communication between the housing space and a space outside the housings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
