Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston-opposing type vehicle disc brake which suppresses the wobbling of a friction pad, and is secured in the slide performance of the friction pad.SOLUTION: A disc turn-out side bridge part 3b, a disc turn-in side bridge part 3c and a center bridge part 3d are arranged at a caliper body 3, a first ceiling opening part 7a is formed between the center bridge part 3d and the disc turn-in side bridge part 3c, and a second ceiling opening part 7b is formed between the center bridge part 3d and the disc turn-out side bridge part 3b. A pad spring 5 comprises: a main body part 5a; first support pieces 5b which are supported to both ends of the first ceiling opening part 7a in a disc axial direction at a disc turn-in side; second support pieces 5c which abut on both ends of the second ceiling opening part 7b in a disc axial direction at a disc turn-out side; and pressing parts 5d which protrude in the disc axial direction from center both-side faces of the main body part 5a, abut on the friction pads 4, respectively, and energize the friction pads 4 to the inside in a disc radial direction.
