Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for a vehicle easy to give a cubic effect concerning designs of graduations, letters, etc., using virtual image display and high in a product value. SOLUTION: This display for the vehicle is furnished with a real image display means by a pointer 4 and a virtual image display means having a half mirror 6 provided inclined in the front of the pointer 4, a light guiding plate 7 with a design part 8 provided on an upper part of the half mirror 6 and a background display member 10 to cover the light guiding plate 7, the background display member 10 is arranged by inclining its one side part 14 so that separation with the light guiding plate 7 becomes larger, and it is constituted so that the background design of an inner surface 11 of the background display member 10 is ununiformly irradiated in a state of forming a shadow on one part with light from a light source 12 arranged on this one side part 14.
