Abstract:
To provide a display apparatus for vehicles configured to improve visibility of a virtual image displayed ahead of a driver.SOLUTION: A display apparatus for vehicles includes: one light source 12; a display device 11 that emits display light L with light made incident from the light source 12; a first lens 14 which polarizes the light from the light source 12 toward the display device 11; and a second lens 15 which is arranged between the first lens 14 and the display device 11 to distribute the light polarized by the first lens 14 toward the display device 11. A light emitting surface 14b of the first lens 14 is formed of one convex curved surface in accordance with the one light source 12. A light emitting surface 15b of the second lens 15 is curved in a convex shape toward the display device 11 and has a plurality of microlens curved surfaces 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
