PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door having satisfactory assembly property and maintainability. SOLUTION: This door 10 is provided with a door panel unit 11 having an outer panel 13 and a door module 12 having a door glass lifting mechanism 50 and a door latch mechanism 51. A rear inner panel 20 is provided in a rear part of the door panel unit 11. A rear space 25 allowing the door latch mechanism 51 of the door module 12 and a sash 42 to enter is formed between the outer panel 13 and the rear inner panel 20. Mounting parts 26, 31 provided in the door module 12 are fixed in such condition that they are overlapped on mounting faces 27, 32 of the door panel unit 11 from an inner side of a vehicle. The door latch mechanism 51 is temporarily attached to the sash 42 so as to move in the vertical direction by a latch support bracket provided on the sash 42.
