Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device having a simple, low-cost configuration capable of intensively irradiating a specific location of a ground with sufficient illumination intensity even when a general light source is used.SOLUTION: The vehicle door opening/closing device comprises: driving means that drives a vehicle door to open/close; detecting means that detects a detected object located in a detection range outside a vehicle; illumination means that irradiates a part of the detection range outside the vehicle; and control means that closes/opens the door by controlling drive of the driving means on the basis of a detection result of the detection means, and irradiates a part of the detection range using the illumination means depending on a detection of the detected object in the detection range by the detection means. The illumination means comprises: a case 6; a light source disposed in the case 6; and a reflector 7 that is disposed in the case 6, and has at least two reflection surfaces 22 which reflect light from the light source. The reflection surface 22 is configured on a part of an oval surface. The light source is disposed at a focal point of the reflection surface 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
