Abstract:
To provide a door opening and closing device for a vehicle capable of carrying out work without trouble while a rear seat door is open.SOLUTION: A detection unit 50 comprises: an ultrasonic sensor 76 for detecting a left foot F of a user M; and a control part (detection ECU 70) for determining an open/closed state of a rear slide door 20 that is triggered when the ultrasonic sensor 76 detects the left foot F. The control part holds the rear slide door 20 in an open state instead of driving the rear slide door 20 to a closed state, when a front door 16 is in the open state when the open/closed state of the rear slide door 20 is determined to be in the open state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
