To provide a vehicle door structure enabling detection of acceleration when an outer panel is displaced to an inner panel side, by distinguishing from closing operation of a vehicle body opening part of a door body.
The vehicle side door structure 10 has the door body 46 having a space R between an inner panel 42 and the outer panel 44, an acceleration sensor 50 arranged in the space R, a bracket 52 supporting the acceleration sensor 50 by the door body 46 so that the direction of sensitivity of the acceleration sensor 50 becomes the vehicle longitudinal direction, and a pressing member 54 for deforming the bracket 52 with relative displacement of the outer panel 44 to the inner panel 42 side. The direction of sensitivity of the acceleration sensor 50 is changed so as to approach the vehicle width direction from the vehicle longitudinal direction by deformation of the bracket 52.
